Fedoskino miniatures - the kind of traditional Russian lacquer miniature oil painting on papier-mache, formed at the end of the XVIII century in the suburban village of Fedoskino.

"Fedoskino lacquer miniature" oil painting executed in three or four layers - has consistently performed zamalevok (overall sketch of the composition), or a recipe peremalevka (more detailed study), glazing (modeling image transparent colors), and blikovka (end product of bright colors, reflections on the transmitting subjects). Fedoskino original technique is a "letter to the cross-cutting": on the surface before painting is applied reflective material - metal powder, gold leaf or potal or inserts are made of nacre. In 1893 they built a new manor house, which housed shops and picturesque.

In 1904, two years after the death of NA Lukutin, the factory was closed. Part of the Masters went to work for VO Vishnyakova, who had a relatively large home studio in the village Ostashkovo ten kilometers from Fedoskino.
